Great, well-made shoes but fit is a little small. The width of the shoes is just a little bit tight and if there is any question on sizing, go for the next size up. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 (US sizing) and ordered the size 38. The shoes were perfect for me other than the arch which was slightly too tight. I ended up returning the size 38's and getting the size 39's which are very slightly big for me but not enough to cause me to return them or to the point where they start to come off when I am walking. GREAT quality materials and craftsmanship makes these shoes worth the extra money.It was hard to break it in. At first it felt a bit snug for my wide feet. I had expected the difficulty since it was just a medium fit. Overtime, it loosened and it felt really great to use. With the previous clogs I've tried using for work, the arch support flattens in a couple of months, perhaps due to the rubber base. Being semi-flat footed, the wooden base provides a consistent arch support during long hours of standing at work. Now I'm thinking about buying another pair in a different color.I have been wearing Troentorp Clogs for several years now. As a real estate broker these are really ideal for easily removing shoes going into homes. In addition, I get many compliments on the look of the clogs and they become a conversation piece. I am very hard on shoes and I have been able to wear each pair (I think this is my third pair) for about 1 year. Of course I have other shoes but I have found the wood base to be surprisingly comfortable, maybe because it is mounted above a rigid rubber sole which meets the ground.As a big guy who works on my feet all day, these are like those warm fuzzy slippers after a long day at work.Granted, I am Danish and grew up in these, but it seems these are made for my feet. I have very high arches and these fit my shape perfectly.Since they are getting a little hard to find for men in my size, I might just grab a few extra pairs.LOVE them that much.A size 38 international was shipped. Return process too complicated plus I had to e-mail. I finally rcvd American size 10 which is a international 40. They are very comfortable.I will never buy any other clog than Troentorp. They are simply outstanding from any other clog.
